An experimental zine
SKETCHES AND ITERATIONS
I knew I wanted the zine to study the definition of the word through a narrative. I started brainstorming and I found a pattern of rhythm being in every part of life, and I used this concept to spearhead the story.
After establishing the font choice and color combination that fit the tone of the narrative, I played with my first iterations. I realized that I needed to shift into a balance of being artistic and being consistent with my layout.
Outcome
This was my final design. I added a table of contents and made design choices that contributed to the narrative, while staying true to the a 4-column, 3-row grid.
