UC Davis's Fall Concert

Project Overview
Sunset Fest is UC Davis's annual fall concert. As design director for the Entertainment Council, I was given a tool-kit and brand-guide to create a unique, yet consistent visual identity for our social media posts.
Challenge
Given the tool-kit, my co-director and I had an idea of what the branding would look like, but the challenge was: "How can we use these assets to make posts stand out while maintaining brand identity and accessibility guidelines?" This was challenging because we were pushed to experiment different ways to use the same tool-kit, yet develop visually interesting and changing outcomes.

Role
My role, as design director included: delegating tasks, spearheading the overall direction for the ways that the brand guide will be implemented, and coordinating with other departments within to council so that we get the assets we needed and graphics posted on a strict deadline.
Process
As for the process my co-director and I would:
Make design decisions together in meetings using Figma.
Executing these designs on Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
It consisted of referencing past years' designs, creating various versions of the same posts, using judgement to see which one made greater impact.
We also delegated tasks to our coordinators and gave them critiques.
In a course of 3 weeks, the design team of four designed a total of 22+ graphics
